About the Role
According to job description, the Community Steward at Game7 will play a important role in fostering an inclusive and dynamic ecosystem. This position is remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while engaging with a global community. Key responsibilities include managing Discord operations, organizing community events, and driving engagement across various platforms.
Discord Management and Growth
- Oversee all events on the Game7 Discord, including AMAs, game nights, and community handouts.
- Ensure a positive atmosphere and vibrant engagement within the community.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement bots and strategies that enhance member interaction.
- Rebuild and manage the server to accommodate over 500K users.
Customer Service and Community Strategy
- Own the customer service aspect on Discord, ensuring timely responses and effective solutions.
- Manage a team of moderators and coordinate with the Head of Community to evaluate performance.
- Develop and implement community growth, engagement, and retention strategies in collaboration with different departments.
